7. Kansas City Chiefs (14)

The fact that Patrick Mahomes was able to rest another week, and the Kansas City Chiefs were able to defeat the Minnesota Vikings in Week 9 was a huge accomplishment for Andy Reid’s squad, especially after falling to the Green Bay Packers the previous week.

For obvious reasons, there’s nothing the Chiefs wanted more than to see the reigning MVP be healthy enough to suit up for this game against the Vikings, but maybe Mahomes will be ready to go for Sunday’s meeting with the Tennessee Titans.

Between Matt Moore taking advantage of having great weapons such as Tyreek Hill to work with to Damien Williams finally breaking out after scoring a 91-yard touchdown, Kansas City has plenty of reasons to be excited about defeating Minnesota.

Not to mention, when seeing how the Chiefs already have three losses at home in 2019, the last thing Kansas City needed was to see another loss added to that unfortunate statistic since playing in front of their fans normally provides an extra advantage against opponents.

This Chiefs team may not be playing on the same level as a year ago, but come playoff time, no one will want to be playing Kansas City if Mahomes is healthy, and on top of his game.
