6. Green Bay Packers (4)

In what may have been one of the biggest surprises of the weekend, the offense of the Green Bay Packers cooled off during the team’s loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in what was a wasted opportunity by Aaron Rodgers and company to increase their lead within the division.

With the return of Davante Adams, who was held to seven catches for 41 yards in Week 9, the Packers’ offense was expected to continue playing at a high level like recent weeks while making the case in the process to be considered one of the top teams to beat in the NFC.

This may still end up being the case for Green Bay, but Sunday’s loss to Los Angeles was the perfect example of how there is a way to hold the offense in check for the Packers.

There aren’t going to be many contests in which Rodgers and the offense waits until the fourth quarter to put up their first touchdown of the game, but hopefully Green Bay finds a way to make the necessary adjustments before their Week 10 meeting with the Carolina Panthers.

Since the Panthers are making a strong case for being one of the top teams to beat in the NFC as well, this will be another tough challenge for the Packers to show they are in fact the real deal, and can compete with the best.
