5. Seattle Seahawks (9)

Sunday was another perfect example of why Russell Wilson deserves to be in the MVP conversation after watching the Seattle Seahawks star shine the way he did to help his team defeat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in overtime.

With the way the San Francisco 49ers are playing, Wilson realizes the Seahawks will need every win possible just to keep the race as close as possible, and one can only imagine the high level of frustration if they came up short in this one.

So just how clutch was Wilson in this one? Well, the fact that Wilson finished with five touchdown passes shows just how dangerous this offense can be when on top of their game, which is obviously bad news for the Rams when it comes to the NFC West.

Also, as great as it was to see Wilson connect with both Tyler Lockett and Jacob Hollister for multiple touchdown catches, keep in mind that Seattle also recently claimed Josh Gordon off waivers from the New England Patriots.

In other words, Wilson is getting another dangerous weapon to work with on offense in Gordon if all goes according to plan, and the key move could make Seattle an even stronger contender in the NFC.
