2. Baltimore Ravens (6)

If the Baltimore Ravens were looking to make a statement on Sunday night in front of a national audience, they certainly did so after handing the New England Patriots their first official loss of the 2019 season.

Of course, just because the Ravens took down the defending Super Bowl champions doesn’t necessarily mean they deserve the honors of being the new team to beat in the AFC, but it certainly helps their case.

What Lamar Jackson has been able to accomplish at quarterback this season has been truly incredible to witness for Baltimore, and even though the team would prefer to see him pass the football, his legs have been a huge difference maker on offense.

Believe it or not, after Jackson helped the Ravens knock off the Patriots the way they did, it may even be time to throw the quarterback’s name in the MVP conversation with other great players such as Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers.

After winning their fourth game in a row, chances are the Ravens will watch this streak increase to five games in Week 10 with a favorable matchup against the winless Cincinnati Bengals.

But most importantly, if there were any doubters about how real of a team Baltimore is, chances are those critics are no longer questioning this Ravens squad after Sunday’s win over the Patriots.
