The pressure is beginning to heat up even more for Jared Goff and the Los Angeles Rams entering Week 11 after another tough loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Jared Goff knew back in September he would playing under a microscope throughout the 2019 season after the Los Angeles Rams rewarded the former No. 1 pick with a whopping contract extension, but no one expected things to be this bad in the middle of November.

With the Rams coming off another tough loss in Week 10 to the Pittsburgh Steelers in which the offense failed to record a single touchdown, Goff and company find themselves in a difficult position at the moment currently sitting with a 5-4 record.

From the offensive line failing to live up to the previous hype following a few changes in the offseason to Todd Gurley struggling to return to his normal ways, Goff doesn’t deserve the entire blame for what’s been going on in 2019.

However, even the best of quarterbacks in Goff’s situation still find ways to step up and produce when their beloved team needs it the most.

And when looking at all of the money invested in Goff, the California product needs to do whatever it takes to help the offense get back on track during this final stretch before it’s too late.

Through nine games, Goff currently ranks third in the NFL with 14 turnovers compared to just 11 touchdown passes, which is completely unacceptable for a quarterback in his position.

Yes, some of the factors previously mentioned are out of Goff’s control, but also the trio of receivers he has to work with in Brandin Cooks, Robert Woods, and Cooper Kupp would make it seem like his numbers should be better.

Due to winning two NFC West titles in a row along with their trip to the Super Bowl last winter, anything short of the Rams reaching the playoffs this year will be viewed as a complete bust.

But if Goff ends up finishing the regular season with more turnovers than actual touchdown passes after looking at the progress made over the previous two years, one can only imagine the high level of pressure the Rams quarterback will be facing in the offseason.

Up next, Los Angeles will welcome the Chicago Bears, and their stellar defense to town in a battle between two NFC teams arguably on the verge of hitting desperation mode.

Chicago’s defense will clearly be one of Goff’s biggest challenges to date, but with the way things have gone since the end of September for the most part, it’s up to him to figure out a way to help the Rams produce on offense, no matter what it takes.
