Los Angeles Rams: 3 teams that can help playoff chances in Week 11
By Dan Parzych
1. Patriots
One can only imagine how much the New England Patriots would love to come out firing on Sunday when heading to the City of Brotherly Love to take on the Philadelphia Eagles not just because of Super Bowl 52, but also their first loss of 2019.
While it would certainly feel amazing for the Patriots to get a little revenge of the team that took them down in Super Bowl 52, New England watched their potential perfect record get shot down in Week 9 after suffering a tough loss on the road to the Baltimore Ravens.
Clearly, there’s no reason for New England to express any concern since they’re still in great shape to earn one of the top seeds in the AFC playoff picture, but also Baltimore would love nothing more than to earn that No. 1 seed before January arrives.
With the Patriots controlling their own destiny, no one would be surprised at all if Tom Brady found a way to pick apart the defense of the Eagles with all of their injuries at cornerback, which would be great news for the Rams.
Even though Philadelphia is currently on the outside looking in for the playoffs like Los Angeles at the moment, they could be one of the teams standing in the way of the Rams for a Wild Card spot.
So as much as Rams fans may not want to root for the team that defeated them last February in the Super Bowl, this is one of the rare circumstances where they could actually help.
