15. Carolina Panthers (10)

Ever since Cam Newton was forced to miss time due to an injury, Kyle Allen has received plenty of praise for the most part after stepping up on offense to help the Carolina Panthers become a playoff threat in the NFC.

But after watching Allen struggle the way he did in Week 11, the Panthers could be in serious trouble after their loss at home to the Atlanta Falcons dropped the team to 5-5 on the season.

While Allen doesn’t deserve the entire blame for what took place on Sunday since the Falcons’ offense came out firing, and turned out to be too much for the Panthers to handle, it certainly didn’t help to see the quarterback finish the game with four interceptions.

Early on when Allen officially took over at quarterback for Newton, he received plenty of high praise for his smart decision making, and ability to avoid turnovers.

After Sunday’s performance, some concerns are beginning to develop in Carolina over whether Allen is in fact the right answer on offense since the Panthers appeared to be in great shape at the position a few weeks ago.

Sure, the argument can be made that Allen deserves some benefit of the doubt for his learning experience, but also Carolina can’t afford to allow another year with a talented roster go to complete waste.

If Allen and the Panthers end up with a third loss in a row in Week 12 against the New Orleans Saints, Carolina may officially hit the panic button.
