9. Kansas City Chiefs (9) (Play Monday Night)

Technically, the Kansas City Chiefs are still in the driver’s seat of the AFC West, but with four losses in six games, Andy Reid and company are arguably on the verge of hitting the panic button.

After watching all of the success last year during the first full season with Patrick Mahomes as the starter, the Chiefs were considered one of the early favorites to make a run at the Super Bowl once again in the AFC for 2019.

This could very well still turn out to be the case for Kansas City, but the main focus for the team at the moment is making sure the team finds a way to come out on top against the Los Angeles Chargers Monday night.

One can only imagine the high level of pressure the Chiefs will be feeling if they happen to suffer a fifth loss in seven games since the Chargers are on the verge of desperation mode as well with the team currently sitting at 4-6.

But since Kansas City realizes the importance of this rivalry game within the AFC West, if Mahomes and the Chiefs came out firing to gain an early lead, no one would be surprised at all.
