NFL Power Rankings, Week 12: Rams bounce back with win over Bears

2. Baltimore Ravens (2)
The Baltimore Ravens seem to find new ways to impress each week, and Sunday’s impressive 41-7 win over the Houston Texans was no different, as the team continues to make statements to be considered the team to beat in the AFC.
All due respect to the New England Patriots since there’s a reason why Tom Brady and Bill Belichick are two of the best in NFL history, but the Ravens appear to be on a completely different level right now, both on offense and defense.
While the four touchdown passes thrown by Jackson on top of the 86 rushing yards will certainly stand out on the quarterback’s end, Baltimore’s defense deserves just as much recognition for keeping Houston in check.
Holding a high-powered offense in the Texans to just seven points is never easy for any opponent, but this shows just how great of a defense the Ravens have on top of their offense led by Jackson.
After looking at the kind of contenders Baltimore has taken down over the last two months, it’s difficult to imagine this team losing come January.
But instead of jumping too far ahead since the Ravens still have plenty of work to do, the focus is on the team’s next game against the Baltimore Ravens next Monday night.
