29. Denver Broncos (29)

Week 11 is going to be one of those contests in which the Denver Broncos look back on knowing they should have won after holding a 20-0 at halftime to the Minnesota Vikings, only to be outscored 27-3 in the second half.

At this point in the regular season, the Broncos are in one of those positions in which they know playoffs are basically out of the picture, but a win over the Vikings certainly would have been the ultimate confidence booster moving forward.

On a positive note, at least Brandon Allen showed for a second game in a row that he deserves to be considered for the long-term plans in Denver at the quarterback position after putting together a decent outing in the first half.

Obviously, it would have been better to see Allen do more in the second half to help the Broncos pull off the upset on the road, but also keep in mind he is inexperienced.

If anything, Denver’s defense deserves part of the blame for falling apart in the second half since their level of play from the first two quarters made it seem like they were motivated to earn what would have been a tough win on the road.
