1. Defense continues to shine

As frustrating as it’s been to watch the offense of the Rams struggle at times throughout 2019, at least the defense continues to make a strong case for being one of the top units in the league.

Thanks to Aaron Donald continuing to be an absolute freak of nature, Los Angeles will always be considered a top defense as long as the Pittsburgh product remains healthy.

But with some of Donald’s teammates such as Dante Fowler Jr. and Clay Matthews continuing to find ways to make strong impacts as well, the defense has been one of the biggest strengths for the Rams in 2019.

Not to mention, Jalen Ramsey continues to show each week why the cornerback was worth giving up two future first-round picks to acquire, and will hopefully be around Los Angeles for the long run to make the previous trade even more worth it for the Rams.

Offense will most likely be the difference maker in whether Los Angeles has what it takes to earn one of the spots in the NFC playoff picture, but at least if the defense continues to play this well, it will help take additional pressure off Jared Goff and company on the other side.
