Aaron Donald recording sack for sixth game in a row against Ravens will be challenging

Aaron Donald and the Los Angeles Rams will face a difficult challenge in Week 12 with the Baltimore Ravens coming to town.
As frustrating as it’s been at times to watch the offense of the Los Angeles Rams throughout the 2019 season, at least one of the positive factors surrounding the defense is Aaron Donald continues to play at an extremely high level.
Rightfully so, expectations were high for the two-time Defensive Player of the Year heading into 2019 after Donald set a career high last year with 20.5 sacks.
Even when Donald receives extra attention from opponents, the Pittsburgh product constantly still finds way to be productive by applying constant pressure to opposing quarterbacks.
Not to mention, Donald’s elite level of play tends to benefit his teammates as well if their beloved teammate is receiving most of the extra attention, whether it happens to be Clay Matthews or Dante Fowler Jr.
After finishing with another strong outing this past Sunday in a win over the Chicago Bears in which he recorded two sacks, it’s safe to say Donald will find Monday’s meeting with the Baltimore Ravens a little more challenging.
When it comes to the biggest surprises from the 2019 season, Lamar Jackson being in the MVP race certainly ranks near the top of the list since his explosive play has resulted in the Ravens becoming one of the strongest Super Bowl contenders in the AFC.
Jackson’s play from the last few months are the perfect example of why the former Louisville star is one of the current frontrunners for MVP when taking into consideration that on top of his passing numbers, the Ravens quarterback also has 788 rushing yards with six touchdowns.
Basically, Jackson’s ability to scramble will be the latest challenge by Donald and the Rams in regards to earning their seventh win of the season in Week 12.
With Donald recording at least one sack in five-straight games, there’s nothing the Rams defensive star would love more than to get to Jackson once or twice to help this streak increase to six while putting Los Angeles in better position to defeat Baltimore.
This will obviously be easier said than done for Donald, but it’s always good to see a tough challenge once in a while, right?
