The LA Rams continue to find quality talent in round 7 of the 2020 NFL Draft. Here are three guys that GM Les Snead should consider selecting.

Winning organizations treat the seventh round of the NFL Draft as important as the first round. Expect Les Snead and the LA Rams to thoroughly evaluate the talent yet to be drafted. There is quality talent to be selected in the final round, particularly when the team is guided to the right player with data analytics.

As the 2020 NFL Draft winds down, the players selected may not be familiar to you. However, they may have a higher ceiling in which to improve their game performances than a first rounder does. Have you ever noticed how some players look the same as they did in their collegiate days?

The biggest challenge for the Rams is, determining how the player will contribute success to the team. Injuries can wreck havoc on teams looking to make a deep playoff run. Talent level makes the difference. Depth can mean the difference between competing in the NFL Playoffs, or watching form the comfort of one’s living room.

Three players that could be taken in round 7

First, defensive tackle Raequan Williams would be a nice addition to the defensive front. The Michigan State Spartan stands 6-feet-4 weighing 303 pounds. Last season, he recorded five sacks with 48 total tackles.

Next, rusher Darius Bradwell is a big strong running back. He stands 6-feet-1 weighing 230 pounds. In 38 college games at Tulane, he ran the ball 389 times for 2062 yards to average 5.3 yards per carry.

Third, defensive back Jared Mayden would be able to contribute on special teams and in certain pass defense schemes. The Alabama product got his chance to play and had a good season in 2019. The 6-foot 205 pound safety intercepted four passes while making 59 total tackles.

The NFL Draft is a very wild and fluid event. You might be shocked by which players go early or which ones drop from one round to the next. The Rams will do their due diligence to find the right player.
