3 offensive LA Rams players poised for breakout seasons in 2020

Expect Gerald Everett to have a huge breakout season
Multiple tight end formations have made the fullback obsolete. Most NFL teams have a receiving tight end and a separate blocking tight end. LA has two good big receiving tight ends.

TE Gerald Everett was the first player taken by the Rams in the 2017 draft. He was the 44th overall selection as a second-round pick. Even since arriving, Everett has been a steady performer.
Since 2017, he has caught 86 passes for 972 yards with seven touchdowns. Everett averages 11.3 yards per reception. He catches 60.6% of the passes thrown his way.
Last season, Everett was fifth in receptions for the Rams. He caught 37 passes while Higbee caught 69. Expect him to earn more looks in the passing attack.
Everett stands six-feet-3 weighing 240 pounds. He ran a 4.62-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine. He bench-pressed 225 pounds 22 times in Indianapolis. Everett is an instant mismatch with opposing secondary defenders.
McVay will begin to infuse his offense with big athletic receivers. LA should experiment with Higbee and Everett lining up in the slots with Cooper Kupp as the outside receiver. Everett would have single coverage and should have explosive plays upfield.
Todd Gurley has been the recipient of media attention concerning his future. This next guy will become the next Rams feature running back.
Here is the third player projected to have a breakout season in 2020.
