LA Rams: 7 Round NFL Mock Draft 6.1 – Early April 2020
By Larry Brake
Here’s a 7-round NFL Mock Draft for the LA Rams as the countdown to the 2020 NFL Draft begins in early April – 6.1
The LA Rams were very quiet as the free agency frenzy began in March. As April begins, LA will focus entirely on the upcoming 2020 NFL Draft. Will the Rams move WR Brandin Cooks in order to move up into the first round or accumulate more draft picks? Those are the questions we’ll try to answer in our latest Mock Draft 6.1.
Speculation fuels the fun of the NFL offseason. There is so much hope for a Super Bowl parade in February. However, the offseason means hard work and planning by every level of the Rams organization.
Currently, most of the focus is given to which players will add value to the Rams. Also, which players will be available when LA drafts at number 52 in round 2. Is there a player that LA would make a deal, to move up into round 1, to claim. Would they or just play the cards they are dealt?
There would be a high price to pay for a first-round pick. Suppose Jalen Ramsey or Jared Goff were moved to grab Joe Burrow? Or, would you be satisfied for LA to take the 52nd best player available?
Remember, the Rams finished third in the NFC West in 2019. Don’t forget, the played for the Lombardi Trophy in 2018. Which direction will the Rams go in their pursuit of the Championship?
Here’s a look at the Rams’ first selection.
