LA Rams select Cesar Ruiz, C Michigan

The Rams continue to add offensive linemen with this selection. Cesar Ruiz played center at the University of Michigan. He stands 6-feet-3 weighing 307 pounds.

Ruiz had a very good performance at the Combine. He ran a 5.08-second 40-yard dash and bench pressed 225 pounds 28 times. He vertically jumped 33 inches and broad jumped 113 inches (over 9 feet).

At Michigan, he played center and started a few games at right guard. He played on special teams for a while. LA needs players who can contribute at multiple positions. Versatility is the best way to play on Sundays on a regular basis.
