The LA Rams need a good 2020 NFL Draft crop with 6 picks. To get a handle on the Rams’ strategy, we turn to nfldraftrite.com’s guru Erik Hindenburg

The LA Rams need almost everything in the 2020 NFL Draft. But after free agency, I’m willing to rank the team needs in the following order:  Edge, RB, LB, OL, DL, DB, WR, TE, ST/K. You may disagree over the ranking of some of these positional needs, but the fact is that the LA Rams have a swiss cheese roster today. Even where the team has plenty of depth, like offensive line and linebacker, the team has no clear cut starter, and the quality is yet to be determined.

That is how this team will enter the 2020 NFL Draft.

The Rams have draft picks at 52, 84, 104 (comp), 126, 200, and 235. The team is projected to sit out in rounds one and five of the draft, but the wheeling-dealing general manager Les Snead cannot be ruled out of any round.

It’s a lot to digest, and with the COVID-19 restrictions in place, it’s extremely challenging to get a good handle on what the LA Rams have in store. And Erik is a wealth of knowledge he shares so willingly., making it almost fun to pose NFL questions to him. So we did, and this is what we learned:
