2-for-Tuesday Draft Rite views LA Rams NFC West rivals in 2020 Draft

Arizona Cardinals
Ramblin Fan – Based on your understanding of their team needs, how do you see the 2020 NFL Draft board lining up for them? (such as deep in their biggest need, lots of BPA talent to help, their needs do not align well with this draft)
Erik Hindenburg (DraftRite) – The Cardinals are a bit of a wild card, with an offensively minded young coach at the helm. Upgrading the offensive line and skill positions seem like a foregone conclusion. Your guess is as good as mine as to what that draft board looks like.
Ramblin Fan -Out of the three NFC West rivals, How do you expect their chances will end up in 2020- better, about the same, more challenging? Of course, if you can cite a player or two for each team that they will likely land, that would be great.
Erik Hindenburg (DraftRite) – The Cardinals are still another year of growth and retooling away from truly competing in my opinion. Murray showed a ton of promise at quarterback and adding Hopkins as a weapon was a brilliant move. I do not think they can pass up the chance to add another outside receiver if the option presents itself. Upgrades at offensive line, tight end, and defense, in general, all are needed as well. Adding a true anchor at Tackle like Andrew Thomas or Mekhi Becton would be huge.
Ramblin Fan – Since this 2020 NFL Draft process has been cut short, can you give a general assessment of how each of the NFC rivals will handle this unique scouting process leading up to the draft?
Erik Hindenburg (DraftRite) – I truly believe this is going to be a unique draft in the sense that teams simply do not have the information available that they are accustomed to. Medical questions are really going to hurt prospects in this draft. General Managers may be a little quicker to trade up for or overdraft guys they covet.
I expect all three NFC Rival teams to be active in trade calls, and I expect there to be more need-based drafting as teams will have done the most work on positions of need. BPA is already more of a myth than an actual practice, and I expect it to be tossed almost completely out after the first round this year.
Once again, we thank Erik for taking the time to contribute here and add a bit of perspective to the LA Rams fans regarding the 2020 NFL Draft outlook for the 49ers, Seahawks, and Cardinals. I certainly recommend following him on Twitter @HindenburgScout, and letting him know how you feel about his take on the rest of the NFC West!
