LA Rams: 2020 NFL Draft – post Cooks trade Mock Draft 7.1
By Larry Brake
LA Rams select Solomon Kindley, G Georgia
The Rams add another road grading lineman in round 4. Georgia’s Solomon Kindley is taken as the 126th overall selection of the draft. Kindley stands 6-feet-4 weighing 335 pounds.
He played both left and right guard throughout his college career. He started seven games at right guard in 2017. He started every game at left guard in the following season. Just plug him in and let him play.
Walterfootball.com ranks him as the fourth-best guard in this draft class. Campbell writes the following:
"Kindley was good for the Georgia in 2019. He is a powerful run blocker and athletic in pass protection. Kindley looks like he has plug-and-play starting potential for the NFL. However, multiple sources feel Kindley should lose some weight for the NFL due to getting too heavy during his junior year. That led to him getting too far over his toes and susceptible to problems with speed rushers. Still, Kindley has a lot of fans in the scouting community …"
The Rams are building an impressive young offensive line for the future with these picks. Kindley cements his spot by his size and ability to play on either side of the line. LA has multiple options with his addition to the roster.
