LA Rams pick Michael Pittman Jr., WR USC

Michael Pittman Jr. is the Rams’ choice in round 3. Pittman played college football at the University of Southern California. He caught 171 passes for 2519 yards with 19 touchdowns.

Pittman’s big physical frame aid him as he averaged 14.7 yards per reception. He measured 6-feet-4 weighing 223 pounds at the Combine. If drafted, he would be the biggest receiver on the Rams roster.

Pittman ran a 4.52-second 40-yard dash at the Combine. He vertically leaped 36.5 inches and broad jumped 121 inches. Expect the Rams to throw goal-line fade routes to him.

Pittman would play on the line as the X receiver. This would move Kupp to the slot receiver position and would really open up the passing game. Robert Woods, Pittman, and Kupp would give opposing defensive coordinators nightmares concerning which coverages to play.
