LA Rams will have solid options for an edge rusher at pick 52 of the 2020 NFL Draft, claims NFL Analyst Brian Baldinger

The LA Rams need help on the edge in the 2020 NFL Draft. Right now the team has lost both outside linebackers, Dante Fowler Jr. and Clay Matthews. And with them went 19.5 quarterback sacks, 95 tackles, and 29 tackles for losses. That’s a lot of production to replace in one season.

Hopefully, the Rams will make up for some of that with the addition of outside linebacker Leonard Floyd. While Floyd is more versatile at the outside linebacker spot, possessing a skillset more like that of Matthews, the Rams project him as someone who can set the edge, cover on passes, and also flip to rushing the quarterback.

But the team hasn’t yet addressed the pass rush specialist just yet.  That situation prodded us to ask NFL analyst Brian Baldinger who he projects on the draft board at 52 when the LA Rams step up to the podium for the first time.

He responded with two edge rushers, Utah’s Bradlee Anae, or Alabama’s Terrell Lewis. Who are they? Can they generate double-digit sacks in the NFL? And will they be there when the LA Rams step up to the podium?
