Here is a revised 7 round mock draft for the LA Rams, one week before the NFL Draft begins
One week from today, April 17, 2020, the LA Rams will make their first selection in the NFL Draft. The Rams should be open to any move that would improve the team’s chances to win the NFC West division, this season. After all, winning the Super Bowl is the goal for every NFL team – isn’t it?
There have been numerous speculations whether the Rams should move up into round 1 or down to accumulate mid-round picks. There is elite talent available on both sides of the ball if LA decides to grab one. Also, this 2020 NFL draft class has quality depth at most positions that could help the Rams immediately.
The Rams have made some surprising moves in the past month. Todd Gurley’s release and the trade of Brandin Cooks shocked most LA fans the most. Salary cap space restrictions hampered the Rams’ ability to sign or re-sign former LA players. What will Les Snead do to remedy that situation?
Perhaps he will trade Jalen Ramsey to move up into the first round on Thursday. Also, according to overthecap.com, this would save the Rams $13.7 million in cap spending with no dead money penalty. Is there any current player on the roster that LA would not trade – Aaron Donald or Jared Goff?
