If you want to follow the event which places the LA Rams in this scenario, the Rams traded back with the Las Vegas Raiders at 52, and with the Philadelphia Eagles at 57. In both cases, a player valued as an instant starter fell to the Rams, and the trade package was enough to trade back and surrender a chance to choose a significant contributor for the Rams’ own roster.
Trade back opportunities will exist for the Rams throughout the draft. Whether or not the team elects to agree to the offer will be dependant upon the value of the offer, the value of players on the board at that selection, and the number of picks the Rams believe they need to complete filling their roster needs with the 2020 NFL Draft.
