The LA Rams did not get to pick until midway through round two. But they picked frequently from that point on. How did they do with their 4 picks?

As we all know, the LA Rams entered the 2020 NFL Draft without a first-round pick, so day two was an active and exciting time for both the team and the fans. Both hoped that the team was able to find immediate contributors, who can help the team get back into playoffs, after barely missing them in 2019.

The 2019 season was disappointing, the team took a huge dip in production, specifically on offense, and most of it can be attributed to the offensive line, that resented the loss of guard Roger Saffold and center John Sullivan, with that lesson, the opportunity of drafting an immediate answer is wide open.

Names like Todd Gurley and Brandin Cooks left the offense but didn’t (or at least we thought that way) leave a gaping hole. On the other hand, outgoing veterans Corey Littleton, Dante Fowler, Nickell Robey-Coleman, and Clay Matthews left with no clear backup to support their loss.

LA Rams general manager Les Snead has characterized himself in the NFL draft specifically because he is not scared of trading. He doesn’t hesitate to move either up for grabbing a player that he considers a great fit, or down in order to rack more picks.

But that has not been the case this year. Surprisingly, the Rams have stayed put in all of their four day-two picks and grabbed some rather intriguing players.
