LA Rams News: 2020 Rams Schedule 3 potential trap games
By Bret Stuter
With the release of the LA Rams 2020 schedule, there are always emotional pitfalls along the way. Here are 3 potential trap games for the Rams
The LA Rams enter the 2020 NFL season not as a favorite to win it all. The Rams are not even expected to win the NFC West division. Truth be told, many pundits and prognosticators now project the LA Rams to end up the season with a 7-9 or 8-8 record. That is close enough to be in the discussion for post-season play, but falling short once more. Of course, everyone is entitled to their opinion, as inaccurate or subjective as it is.
The Rams 2020 NFL Schedule is now available and open for debate, analysis, and predictions. That’s where we come in. It’s now our turn to sledgehammer that 16 game schedule into digestible pieces, and then discuss what we believe it all means.
One such schedule analysis that is of particular concern is the discussion about the trap games in the season. Trap games are games that the favored team (the LA Rams) SHOULD win, but due to the placement of the games in relation to the time to prepare, the risk of looking ahead to a more difficult opponent the next week, or simply an emotional letdown, the team loses, oftentimes embarrassingly and with plenty of national commentary suggesting the Rams are not a very good team.
Now, it’s our task to point out which scheduled games are likely the trap games for the LA Rams. Ready? Here we go!
