LA Rams News: Head coach Sean McVay faced adversity in 2019, virtually ensuring his strong rebound in 2020
After the LA Rams head coach Sean Mcvay was all but anointed as the next Bill Belichick by the national media after their Super Bowl LIII encounter, the Rams express train of ever-improving seasons derailed in 2019. That’s fine, because McVay hadn’t earned that honor of comparison yet, and still hasn’t. To win that sort of honor, McVay will not only need to coach the LA Rams to a Super Bowl victory, but to repeated victories over the course of his career.
Of course, some in the national media spotlight try to speed up the rise of any successful NFL player or coach. That also speeds up their demise as well. Oftentimes, those players or coaches struggle out of the spotlight once it shines elsewhere. But sometimes, however rarely, that fall from grace serves as an even more intense motivation to reclaim success with an even tighter grasp of understanding how to do so. The greatest players and coaches in any professional sport are not those who never fall to failure but are those who relentlessly learn to stand up after the fall.
Right now, LA Rams head coach Sean McVay is learning what it takes to stand after a fall. And not many in the NFL are prepared to face Sean McVay in round 2.
And so, Rams head coach Sean McVay is very motivated to get the LA Rams back into the NFL Playoffs.
