McVay’s 2020 top hotspot for 2020

So what have head coach Sean McVay and newly hired offensive coordinator Kevin O’Connell been working on so far this offseason? With all of the challenges facing the team in 2019, the basic conversations likely began with a more responsive way of adapting to the team’s weaknesses in 2020. And that is O’Connell’s wheelhouse. He was instrumental in refocusing rattled Washington Redskins rookie quarterback Dwayne Haskins. In fact, Haskins played so well late in 2019 that he almost led the Redskins to a surprising upset of playoff-bound Philadelphia Eagles. Now, he’ll bring that adapt to the players and to the opponent mentality to the strategy of big-thinker McVay into game-winning tactics to employ game by game.

If you speak to almost any NFL fan, they will all respond with the same answer to the question: What must the LA Rams fix for the 2020 season? They will all respond – the offensive line. While that is true, how the Rams will address the offensive line will not sit well for many Rams fans, and will completely escape comprehension for fans of other NFL teams.  The answer is Patience. The Rams have added eight new offensive linemen since the 2018 NFL Draft. That’s just a two-year span.
