LA Rams News: 2020 preseason schedule set
By Bret Stuter
The LA Rams 2020 preseason schedule is set
There will be many eyes upon the LA Rams in the 2020 preseason. Not because they are the returning Super Bowl Champions. Nor have they drafted the first pick of the 2020 NFL Draft. The Rams are new is a different way. The team, once rocketing to the upper atmosphere of NFL elite teams, fell back to earth somewhat in 2019, ending with a 9-7 record. While we have gone at length to explain why it happened, nobody can guarantee that it won’t continue into 2020. So many eyes will train upon the LA Rams to delight at the first sign of weakness and further vulnerability.
Others will look for different signs. Signs that head coach Sean McVay is responding to last year’s adversity. Signs that the team is progressing in a positive direction. Signs that the team is able to absorb the loss of so many contributors and through free agency and the draft have found worthy replacements. Signs that the Rams three new coordinators are turning the corner with and for the team and better days lie ahead.
Break the egg and let’s scramble
The only way to know what type of egg you have is to crack it open, so that’s what the Rams will need to do this preseason. By virtue of the preseason schedule, the Rams have the equivalent of three home games and one road game to close out the preseason at Las Vegas.
The LA Rams will have a lot of moving parts leading up to the first preseason game. What happens in the preseason? Well, we’re so glad you asked.
