Friday, August 14, 7:00 pm PT – The Rams and New Orleans Saints have an intermingled history, It will be the first outing for the Rams versus a Saints squad eager to exact revenger for two losses in the last two meetings.  Don’t look for the Rams to give anything away in this one. Saints 17 Rams 10   W-L record: 0-1

Saturday, August 22, 7:00 pm PT -The Rams and the Los Angeles Chargers take the field in week two. After the week one loss, the Rams begin to phase in starters and play for approximately the first quarter of the game. In this one, the Rams take an early lead and get surprising heroics on both offense and defense in the second half.   Rams 30 Chargers 10   W-L record: 1-1

Preseason Part II

Saturday, August 29, 7:00 pm PT -The Rams host the Denver Broncos in the third week of preseason in what has historically been the game where starters get work.  While the Denver Broncos are set to go with a stable roster and coaching staff, the Rams need extra work, and they get it in this one. It’s a homecoming treat for Rams DC Brandon Staley to face his former mentor Vic Fangio. The game is decided in the fourth quarter by a game-winning field goal. But which kicker?  That’s part of the suspense, isn’t it?   Rams 24 Broncos 21 W-L record: 2-1

Thursday, September 3, 7:00 pm PT – With the starters resting, it’s the battle of the bubbles in week four, and the Rams finally travel on the road to play a preseason game. In this one, even the late start time will tax the stadium’s climate control system.  While the heat bakes the outdoors, the LA Rams cook inside, as many talented players work hard to earn a roster spot and playing time. Van Jefferson gets a healthy dose of playing time and could light up the scoreboard in his “I was worth selecting” coming out party.  The Raiders are already looking to the start of the NFL season, but the Rams young defenders make a stand.   Rams 28 Raiders 3 W-L record: 2-1
