The LA Rams behind the scenes draft video which provides a perfect closure for the 2020 NFL Draft

Decisions made throughout the LA Rams draft process during the 2020 NFL Draft were, for the most part, sketchy to many fans. And for all the needs perceived on this roster before the draft, and for all the talent available within the draft, it led to a lot of questions about how the Rams arrived at decisions about who was selected in the draft.  So the Rams made a post-draft video and shared that unique perspective so that it all makes perfect sense.

While this is a rather late view of the draft process, I think the timing is uniquely well-positioned.  Many have now had the chance to review each of the players chosen by the LA Rams in the draft, and have had the chance to form the questions about those candidates in terms of qualities that made that prospect stand out, why not another prospect still on the board when the Rams made the selection.

We’ve had a lot of discussions on the “Why him?”. The conversations about specific players in this video footage are incredibly insightful. Les Snead, while attempting to use metaphors and talk around strategies, confirms many of our conclusions about the draft.

Next. 5 LA Rams players who could be 2020 surprise starters. dark

TE Brycen Hopkins was the top choice for the Rams at the position and studied Rams’ tight end, Tyler Higbee, as the type of player to emulate. S Jordan Fuller was also a cornerback converted to safety and will fit the versatile nature of the Rams defensive backfield.  Clay Johnstone is already set with high intensity, passionate style of play, and the Rams believe he will be a great contributor.
