Here comes HBO Hard Knocks

Of course, both the LA Rams and the Los Angeles Chargers will be dually featured on HBO Hard Knocks this season. Since both NFL teams will simultaneously debut as home teams at the new $6 billion SoFi Sports Complex, HBO will commemorate the event by featuring both NFL teams this season, a first for the HBO series:

The Rams last appeared on the televised series in 2016, when the Rams were still led by then-head coach Jeff Fisher. Only a handful of players currently on the Rams roster now played on the roster then. So this will be a sequel, of sorts, for some Rams players.

Rams features

Of course, everyone will want to see the now-$6 billion SoFi Stadium.  Even LA Rams head coach Sean McVay will be excited to show it off:

But that is window dressing for what will be some serious storylines playing out for the Rams this year.

Where the true NFL football drama will occur is on the Rams roster. Unless you are known as Aaron Donald, Jalen Ramsey, or Jared Goff, nothing is certain, and there are no guarantees. Starting roles on offense and defense are all up for grabs. But the special teams’ units are accepting players practically on tryouts now.  The competition will be incredibly exciting to watch.
