Can LA Rams quarterback Jared Goff win a shootout in 2020?

The LA Rams came up on the short end of shootouts in 2020. Of the four games where the LA Rams allowed opponents to score 30 or more points, the LA Rams were a ghastly 0-4. When the same Rams teams scored more than 30 points, the Rams were an average 3-2. Is that an anomaly? Or is this a trend that only a 9-7 season triggers investigating to discover?

We know a lot about the 2018 LA Rams team, and probably just as much about the 2019 team.  The Rams actually converted away from the generally dangerous offense in 2018 to one that featured wide receivers Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods in 2019.

Woods has often been used to move the ball up and down the field, but when the Rams get into the red zone, the offense has tended to look elsewhere. The distribution to other receivers can be a strength as if forces defenders to avoid doubling up on any single receiver.

In 2018, the defense was no better than holding the opponents to under 30 points. In six 2018 contests, the LA Rams were a very impressive 5-1 if the opponents scored over 30.  If the LA Rams scored over 30 points, the Rams were an almost unbeatable 11-1.
