Can LA Rams HC Sean McVay respond in 2020 as well as 2018?

After a solid start in 2017, LA Rams head coach Sean McVay had to face greater expectations in 2018. But was that easier than the expectations of turning around the team in 2020?  McVay enjoyed a phenomenal debut as rookie head coach of the LA Rams, but to a success hungry team and fanbase, that meant that he had to face rapidly rising expectations in 2018.

What 2019 was in hindsight was the first taste of adversity to a young head coach of an extremely successful football team.

McVay had taken over for the team in 2017. Almost immediately, the team rocketed to the top of the NFL. After whetting the appetite for success, McVay followed up that with an amazing season. Despite the loss of WR Cooper Kupp at mid-way to injury, and RB Todd Gurley late in the season to injury, the team managed to restock the roster and continue winning.
