LA Rams News: ESPN gives LA Rams DL Aaron Donald All-Decade team honors as part of the NFC West All-Decade team.

There are four types of stories dominating national headlines about the LA Rams football team right now. How costly has SoFi Sports Complex? How far will the Rams fall in standings this year? What are the latest NFL rule changes for the 2020 NFL season due to COVID-19? And just how good is All-Pro defensive lineman Aaron Donald?  While the answers to the first three questions are still being resolved, we can state in definite terms that LA Rams Donal is pretty good.

That’s the latest storyline out of ESPN, thanks to Los Angeles correspondent Lindsey Thiry. So what is there to say about Donald that we haven’t cited or stated before? Not much. He’s just so good, that the streaming of superlatives and praises is not just background noise for the guy.

NFC West All-Decade Team

It was all part of the contributing segments to the ESPN’s NFC West All-Decade team report published in June 2020. The article had a breakdown segment for each team, and then the NFC West Division All-Decade Team.

For the NFC West All-Decade Team, the Rams had the following players listed:

Running Back Todd Gurley (2015-2019)
Right Guard Rodger Saffold (2010-2018)
Defensive Tackle Aaron Donald (2014-present)
Punter Johnny Hekker (2012-present)

While four players may not seem like a large number, keep in mind that the Rams have only become significant in the NFC West in the last several years.

The Rams ended the last decade as a contender.  Now the team must find a way to return to post-season competition, and then to win the final game of the season The NFL is nicknamed Not-For-Long. The Rams must take advantage of their talent now, and plan to sustain that same level of excellence well into the future.
