Just Plain Disrespect

LA Rams’ long snapper Jake McQuaide was given an abysmal rating of 35.  Of course, the game only recognizes McQuaide as a tight end. If the Rams defensive lineman Aaron Donald is deserving of the illustrious 100 overall that hasn’t been given in 20 years, then the longest-tenured Ram on the roster, Jake McQuaide, deserves the never before awarded 101 ratings.

Put some respect on this man’s name EA before he long snaps you into the fifth dimension. McQuaide is a demi-god amongst mortals. When he snaps that ball the earth opens up in violent trembles, the sky weeps until it floods the earth, and the oceans drag ships of sailors down to its murky depths! To designate him as a tight End at 35 overall and not have Longsnapper as a position in the game at all is just plain disrespect. And for that EA Madden 21, I fear for your souls and wonder how you will get any sleep at night when he will inevitably come for you.

Summary

That’s it Rams fans. Ratings are out and if you love your team you should feel slighted, to say the least. Personally, I think EA should get rid of their raters and let PFF be in control of player overalls but that’s just me. Did they hand out correct ratings or do you think they under/overrated players?

Why has everyone lost faith in LA Rams HC Sean McVay?. dark. Next

Of course, Rams fans are not the only fanbase to be invited to comment on Madden’s ratings.  Some of the NFL’s biggest names are asking questions about the Madden ratings. Of course, there will always be a debate, but Madden more and more seems to be about a popularity contest than actual player quality and talent.  Is seldom-used tight end Greg Olsen a more talented tight end than Tyler Higbee?  Is out-of-retirement Rob Gronkowski truly worth a 95 rating?
