The LA Rams were not alone in winning. After a pretty impressive week one, the NFC West remains the toughest division in the NFL

The LA Rams may have raised some eyebrows in week one, but they were not the only team to do so. In fact, a few eyebrows were raised all across the NFC West division, for various reasons. The Rams upset the Dallas Cowboys in a game many were already looking past.

But the Arizona Cardinals upset the defending NFC Champion San Francisco 49ers. On the other side of the nation, the Seattle Seahawks allowed three receivers to put up over 100 yards receiving and still won the game on the road against the Atlanta Falcons.

What an opening week!

The first week of the NFL was better than feared in terms of the quality of play. That’s a round of applause to the NFL players and coaches who put in a painstaking effort to ready all 32 teams for the opening kickoff. Now, one week into the 2020 NFL season, 16 teams are attempting to stretch that success into a two-game winning streak. The other 16 teams are attempting to merely get into the win column.

But if they had faced a non-division opponent, it’s very likely that the entire NFC West would be undefeated after one week of football.  But enough background. Let’s dive right into the division and size up how they are doing
