The LA Rams have a game under their belts now and can reset their roster. Here are 5 players who will benefit going forward

The LA Rams have played one game and won one game. In the grand scheme of things, the Rams are six percent through the 2020 NFL season. Well, 6.25 percent to be exact.  Head coach Sean McVay has won all four of his season openers so far. In the past, the Rams have won their second game two of three times.  In fact, each year McVay seems to become a bit more difficult to figure out.

Still, that all gets pushes aside in 2020. This has not been a normal year, and will likely continue to have minor tremors of surprises halfway through this season. And this year, that second game brings the LA Rams and Coach McVay face to face with a team that has had their number in recent years.  In two previous matchups, the Philadelphia Eagles and head coach Doug Pederson is 2-0 against the Rams.

What a difference a couple of years makes

This year could be different. The Rams are not relying only upon the machinations of McVay, but will also combine that with new offensive coordinator Kevin O’Connell and defensive coordinator Brandon Staley. While that doesn’t guarantee anything, it does mean that the offensive and defensive game plans will be forged and sharpened.  Dallas never really knew what hit them. And until a team faces these Rams, they won’t know.

This game is about a clash of NFL titans. While the media talks about Joe Burrow and Kyler Murray as the next NFL Hall of Famer, the Rams and Eagles will go about their business. Two great quarterbacks fronting two great coaching staffs.  This game will create surprising heroes from the roster. So who are the most likely Rams to show up in a highlight reel?  We have five players who could put up some good numbers in this one.
