LA Rams offensive line has even tougher task this Sunday

Thankfully, video footage is back
The NFL hiatus on preseason games forced all 32 NFL teams to walk into week one blinded as to what their opponents might do. Now, it’s on video. Teams can study their opponents over and over. Look for tendencies, study quirks. Good players rely on talent. Great players rely upon knowing their opponent.
The Rams will likely face Fletcher Cox, Brandon Graham, Derek Barnett, and Javon Hargrave this week. Their backups include Josh Sweat and Malik Johnson, two players who could start for many teams. The Rams will have their work cut out for them again, particularly young Joseph Noteboom and Austin Corbett.
Coaches combine forces
But have faith. This year, the group is not five warm bodies trying to work together. They are synched up, and they are putting up solid numbers as a unit. What’s more, the Rams coaching staff did an outstanding job of calling an incredible game in the opener, and we fully believe that the combination of head coach Sean McVay and offensive coordinator Kevin O’Connell will strike paydirt again this week.
The Rams have a lot of weapons on offense, but they are only effective in their offensive line can move bodies and protect the quarterback. So far, the Rams surprised a lot of people with a great performance on week one. Each week, it will become more and more difficult to surprise opponents. But at the same time, this group will become better and better. The Eagles defensive line could be one of the toughest matchups for the Rams in the trenches this year.
