1. Kansas City Chiefs

There is no doubt which team is number one right now. The Kansas City Chiefs are not only undefeated, but they beat the Baltimore Ravens and the New England Patriots already. That’s a pretty tall list for a defending Super Bowl Champion.

2020 Summary

So far, the Chiefs are picking right up where they left off at the Super Bowl. They have taken on and defeated all challengers so far this season. With victories over both the Patriots and the Ravens, the Chiefs have not only advanced their own cause but have complicated the chances of competing AFC teams for playoff berths.

2020 Outlook

The Chiefs are outstanding. Their offense is nearly flawless. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes has thrown 11 touchdowns with no interceptions. Meanwhile, rookie running back Clyde Edwards Helaire is a custom fit for this team’s offensive needs, much like Alvin Kamara is to the Saints. Meanwhile, the defense is doing its part to terrorize opposing quarterbacks and hold the lid on their ability to score.

Kansas City very much appears to be a team capable of winning back to back Super Bowls. While there is a lot of football to be played, this is a very good team that likely faces three teams capable of defeating them if everything goes perfectly.
