LA Rams uniform tracker: Week 7 update
By John Vogel
Home Look: Blue jersey over blue pants
So far, this is my least favorite look that the Rams have put out on the turf. The reverse gradient on the yellow accents of the uniform are lackluster, in my opinion, and it just rings too much like the old Jeff Fisher days (*gasp* I actually said that).
Is it that the combo just sports too much blue? Blue is traditionally a color signifying wisdom but recently is associated with sadness. Maybe the Rams just don’t feel it in this combo?
Record: 0-2
Average score per game: Opponents 30 – 27
The Rams have not been able to get it done while wearing this combo. The Buffalo Bills beat out the Rams in a 35-32 shootout after jumping to a big first-half lead. Then, the San Francisco 49ers took down the Rams at home on Sunday Night Football, 24-16.
It’s a shame that the blue look doesn’t work, but maybe it’s for the better. It’s nicer to think about better times – like the blue over yellow combo that won the Rams a Super Bowl in 2000.
