WR Reynolds

Right now, the Philadelphia Eagles passing offense is a cast of relatively unknown players. Led by second-year receiver Travis Fulgham, the Eagles are making yards with players who many did not even know play in the NFL.  Boy, they could use a WR like  Josh Reynolds. And to be honest, the LA Rams could use an opportunity to get more snaps to rookies Van Jefferson and Trishton Jackson.

The Eagles receivers have been decimated this season. As they so often do, they promote practice squad players and line up and play games.

Why Reynolds?

The versatility of wide receiver Josh Reynolds would be an ideal complement to the Eagles offense. The Eagles love to send a wide receiver deep to stretch the field as a spacer for their tight ends and running backs.  So far, he averages over 14 yards per catch. That’s pretty good for a WR3 in the NFL.

So far this year, he has caught 18 of 29 passes thrown his way for 278 yards and two touchdowns, both on pace for a career-high season.  While that does not compare favorably with the careers of some Eagles players, Reynolds is a huge addition to a receiver squad currently led by Travis Fulgham and Greg Ward. And Reynolds, like all players mentioned here, can block effective as well.

So what would the Rams expect in return?
