The myriad of deals by the LA Rams have infused a great deal of confusion into the LA Rams future NFL Drafts, so let’s sort it all out (UPDATED 15 Jan 2021)

The LA Rams have been very active in trading NFL draft picks among other NFL teams. So much so that the Rams have traded multiple picks away, and taken in multiple picks in the same draft. In fact, it almost seemed as though the Rams are so fearful over making a bad choice with a first-round pick that they have deliberately found reasons why they need to trade the pick away.

But to be fair, you must be a bit impressed with the outcome. After all, the Rams have a franchise quarterback and a shutdown defensive back as a result of their last two shopping sprees. But through the course of trading picks, the team has almost never enjoyed a draft with their seven original allotted picks. That’s awfully difficult to remember from rote memory.

So let’s try reengineering the LA Rams future draft picks for the next five years. I cannot tell you how often I try to find a comprehensive list of LA Rams picks in future NFL Drafts, only to be frustrated over the results. Either a list does not extend far enough into the future, or it is incomplete or inaccurate.
