Everyone knows who Deebo Samuel is now

Yes. Deebo Samuel, Aaron Donald knows who you are. The entire Rams organization knows that you have played four games, caught 16 of 22 passes thrown your way for 185 yards and just one touchdown after ten games.  Was it worth the trouble of calling out an All-Pro when you knew that you would face them again? The 49ers have 16 players on injured reserve, including cornerback Richard Sherman, tight end George Kittle and quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo.

The LA Rams won’t overlook the 49ers in this one. Nor will there be any trash talk rebuttal from the Rams (with the exception of Donald’s statement, which is perfectly understandable). The Rams will be all business in preparing to meet the 49ers at SoFi Stadium. Cold, calculating, matter-of-fact preparation type of business.

Paybacks are hell

In 2019, the LA Rams clung to fragile NFL Playoff hopes until the Rams lost their second game against the 49ers. That loss gave the Rams their seventh loss, a loss the team could not afford. In the end, the Rams ended the season at 9-7, the best non-playoff team in the NFL last season. Now the Rams have a chance to hang the fatal seventh loss on the 49ers, and I believe that they will do exactly that. The Rams had a chance to overlook a depleted 49ers roster in anticipation of the Arizona Cardinals (6-4) first meeting.

Thanks to the misspoken comments of WR Deebo Samuel, there is almost no chance of that happening.  Right now, the 49ers are trying to bring back WR Deebo Samuel, RB Raheem Mostert, RB Tevin Coleman, RB Jeff Wilson Jr, and CB Richard Sherman in time to face the Rams. The 49ers know that one more loss ends their season, and are trying to get as many starters back as possible. Here’s hoping that Deebo Samuel makes it back.

After all, it would be a shame for him to be the player who started the fire in Aaron Donald for this game get to watch his teammates try to put it out from the bench.
