I  – Prediction 1

Finally, quarterback Jared Goff will throw for over 300 yards. Yes, that’s quite a bold claim, particularly considering that we predict that he won’t throw an interception either. The Rams discovered the ability to throw short to intermediate routes against a defense with as many as 11 players in the box against the Arizona Cardinals.

The Patriots do not give up 300 yards through the air easily. They held Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen to under 200 yards, and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes to under 300 yards. So what is it about an inconsistent quarterback Jared Goff that makes me believe that he can beat that trend? Well, Houston Texans Deshaun Watson was able to throw over 300 yards by spreading the ball around

Protection, patience, perseverance

The key to success against the New England Patriots defense is to protect the football, remain patient, and persevere by giving what the defense is giving. Goff has plenty of weapons on the field at any point in time. The trick is to recognize how the Patriots are defending the Rams in this one, pivoting to what they are not focused upon, and running the offense through that part of the offense.

LA Rams game day primer: Rams must beat Belichick on TNF. dark. Next

The Rams can run three touchdowns through a tight end. The team can put up scores on the ground or through the air. The defense should be able to handle its responsibility in this one. That means that the Rams should be prepared to use heavy doses of Gerald Everett, Tyler Higbee, Van Jefferson, and the running backs.
