LA Rams fans join Lakers and Dodgers in the ranks of the FanSided 250

After debuting last year, the LA Rams fans return to the ranks of the FanSided 250, joining the Lakers and Dodgers among the world’s top fan bases

The Annual FanSided 250 has arrived, and LA Rams fans are no doubt wondering where they fall in the annual rating of the world’s top fan bases. Well, since we can’t do a drum roll, we’ll have to manufacture our own ‘suspense’. So let’s get right to that.

Each year, FanSided conducts fandom rankings that range from sports to entertainment. If you hadn’t become aware yet, FanSided covers the spectrum of sports and entertainment. From best to worst

Only 20 NFL teams made the rankings this year. That’s a pretty good representation of a 32 team league competing for just 250 spots. Unfortunately, the Rams are still underappreciated in the NFC West. Despite leading the standings in the NFC West division, the Rams are ranked 16th among NFL Teams. That places them behind the Arizona Cardinals (ranked tenth), the San Francisco 49ers (ranked fifth), and the Seattle Seahawks (ranked fourth) among NFL teams.

Overall, the LA Rams are ranked at 180. While that is better than four other NFL teams, it certainly leaves room for improvement in future years. The ranking is based on an algorithm – a preset formula – which weighs fan votes, search score, and social followers – to combine various means of deciphering the number and intensity of following of professional sports teams, sports figures, celebrities, and many other segments of the sports and entertainment industry.

Lakers and Dodgers

Ah, but where are my manners? I promised the grand reveal of where the LA Rams are in comparison to the LA Dodgers and the LA Lakers, didn’t I? Well, the Los Angeles Dodgers are ranked fifth and are the top Major League Baseball team in the rankings. The LA Lakers are the top-ranked team in the National Basketball Association and are the top-ranked team on the 2020 FanSided 250.

It’s safe to say that the LA Rams have some ground to make up for next year.
