The NFL Playoffs are about to begin. Here’s how to stream the matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and the Los Angeles Rams.
The Los Angeles Rams enter the NFL Playoffs as the 6-seed in the NFC, after defeating Arizona in Week 17. Meanwhile, the Seattle Seahawks have seen a defensive resurgence, entering as the 3-seed in the NFC.
How We Got Here
The Seattle Seahawks lead the (Los Angeles) Rams 25-21 all time. The two teams have split victories in each of the last two seasons. In each of those four games, the home team secured the win – if history were to hold, it would favor Seattle.
Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson was the early favorite for MVP. While his play has trailed off in the second half of the season, he was still incredible.
Wilson threw for 4,212 yards and 40 touchdowns, adding 513 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.
But while Wilson might be trending in the wrong direction, the Seattle defense is trending in the right one – the Seahawks have allowed 20 points or less in five of their last six games.
Speaking of defense, you can’t overlook the stingy Rams. Los Angeles led the NFL, allowing just 18.5 points per game. A big reason for that is likely their ability to harass the quarterback, amassing 3.3 sacks per game (second in the NFL).
On offense, the Rams might be without starting quarterback Jared Goff, who missed Week 17’s game against Arizona with a thumb injury.
If Goff were to miss the contest, the start would go to John Wolford. Wolford completed 22-of-38 passes against Arizona, but did not throw a touchdown pass.
