DL Donald
The worst fears of the Rams were realized when All-Pro defensive linemen Aaron Donald was shaken up after pursuing and bringing down quarterback Russell Wilson after an incomplete pass to wide receiver D.K. Metcalf. The play by Donald prevented a completion to an open Metcalf deep in the middle, but it was a costly play.
The Rams stopped the Seahawks with third down and four to go with 10:04 remaining in the third quarter. After the play, Donald took a knee on the field, clutched at his side and ribs, and clearly had labored breathing. Replays of the play revealed that Donald’s side fell upon Wilson’s knee at an odd angle. It was tough to watch Aaron Donald leave the football field nursing his side, and it was even tougher to watch Donald be escorted into the Rams locker room.
Donald injury update
The Rams got more good news when the initial reports indicated no rib injury to Donald. Now, the team will await news from further diagnostic imagery to determine if there is any cartilage damage to Donald’s ribs. But that could mean wearing protective gear and a pain-killing shot to allow Donald to go next week.

Three injuries to three critical veterans. Right now, initial reports indicate that the Rams have emerged with some dings and dents, but no major injuries from the game. But what of the other minor injuries?
