Behind Enemy Lines – Part IV

Ramblin Fan: Now I invite you to make a prediction for the game. If you would please include 1 key for when the Packers have the ball, 1 key for when the Rams have the ball, and a final score prediction.

Dairyland Express: On offense, the Packers will have to keep Rodgers clean, and even if the run game is struggling, LaFleur can’t completely abandon it. The Green Bay offense has been the most productive unit in the NFL this season, but on the few instances when they’ve stalled, these have been two reasons why.

Defensively, the focus should be stopping the run and taking away any easy passes. Akers has had 20 or more carries in four of his last five games, and I expect much of the same on Saturday. Also, with Goff not that far removed from thumb surgery along with the cold temperatures, the Packers should take away as many of the easy completions as they can.

It’s not going to be easy, and the Rams will find success on both sides of the ball, but at Lambeau Field and even with the NFL’s top-scoring defense, I don’t foresee the Rams’ offense being able to keep up with Green Bay’s.

Dairyland Express Final Score prediction:

13. 51. 24. 49. Prediction

So how do we expect the finals score to turn out?
