LA Rams Wednesday Walkabout NFC West 2.1

Arizona Cardinals
The Arizona Cardinals were active in the 2020 NFL Trade market, to no avail. Now, it appears as though the Cardinals are facing an exodus of incredibly talented veterans. Will the team pour their free cash into re-signing key free agents, or simply go young and load up through the draft?
Jay: Absolutely, the Cardinals need to go young and load up from the draft. The entire team needs a transfusion (infusion?) of youth, talent, and speed on both sides of the ball.
And just as Russell Wilson is grousing about his pass protection, so too is the Cards QB, Kyler Murray. He’s also grown weary of getting sacked multiple times every game and let it be known (via a series of recent tweets ) that he wants better O-Line protection in the draft.
Although it has been recently reported that the Cards will part ways with the eight-time All-Pro CB Patrick Peterson, he’s come out recently and denied those rumors.
Should the Cards demur on re-signing him, he will have plenty of opportunities and suitors – Indianapolis or Dallas come to mind as distinct possibilities as both those teams desperately need secondary help. He may not be the premiere CB he once was but he can bring a strong veteran presence to a team in need of back-end help. He might also return some draft picks, which the Cards need to grow younger.
