205. Oklahoma CB, Tre Norwood

The Rams need to take a hard look at defensive backs in this year’s draft. CB Darious Williams and Troy Hill are both free agents but I assume Williams gets resigned; Hill on the other hand I believe the Rams will let walk.

I’m not completely sold on David Long at the moment, and maybe he just needs more reps with the first team but I think it would be wise to draft a corner. Norwood could come in and play the slot position. Per PFF, Norwood had the lowest passer rating when targeted to the slot in 2020 with a grade of 54.2.

Norwood has a high football IQ and is almost always right when being aggressive jumping routes. He was Oklahoma’s best defensive back in 2020 and would be a solid addition to pair with both Jalen Ramsey and Darious Williams for the 2021 season and beyond.
